Friend said when he games he gets input lag from his keyboard and mouse but when he is not gaming everything works just fine. Any help ?

Helped a friend upgrade his PC with a new gpu and psu everything is running good except the fact that when he tries to play a game he gets input lag from his keyboard and mouse when gaming only. When he doesnt game its fine any help ?

Are we dealing with wired or wireless Keyboards/Mice?

What brand(s) are we dealing with?

For nier Automata switching V-sync off/on helped back then maybe there are similar issueshere aswell atleast its worth a shoot.
