What will you use the computer for?

Gaming? Streaming? Studying? Programming?

I would go for 3600MHz memory instead of 3200MHz.

Only for gaming

I'm no master builder but I think your list looks pretty good for gaming. What I would change is the ram to a higher frequency one (3600MHz instead of 3200MHz)

Edit: you probably don't need a 360mm AIO for the 5600X but from the build I assume you'd like your system to look pretty and therefor want a 360mm AIO instead of a 240mm one.

There are a lot of areas you can adjust on this system. If you play your cards right, you can get a 3080 to fit in this budget without losing any performance.

  1. The 12400F is about the same performance as the 5600X but $30 less.
  2. That cooler is super overkill for a 12400 or 5600X. Go for something quite a bit cheaper or just use the stock cooler
  3. B Die is great and everything, but it won't help performance that much compared to a GPU upgrade. Just get a 3200 C16 kit.
  4. The Crucial P5 performs about the same as the 970 Evo Plus but is $20 cheaper
  5. You want to get a case with air flow, which the 465X does not have. The Lancool 215 should look similar enough and have much better airflow (while being cheaper as well)

This system is about the same price but in a different league of performance.

Overpriced uneccesary garbage, no need to waste half your budget on aesthetics, 3060ti is pathetic for what seems to be a rather high budget, atleast 3080 or something and pref an 8 core like 5700x/12700(f)

Also b die is ovepriced for the performance benifit it gives so just dont bother unless you are the type to run high voltage overclocks (>1.6v) and even then its still basically worthless, ballistix will oc very well (4000 cl16 ~1.5v - 4600+ cl18 ~1.6v) and be wayyy cheaper also but timings are abit worse

Pure spec wise its fine for gaming, spec compared to budget wise its complete garbage and you can get a better gpu and therefore better gaming performance

Pretty sure you posted in the wrong subforum but admins will move it

Budget?

Uses?

Country?

I have the same CPU, PSU & Motherboard. These are great & I recommend them. But I purchased them a year ago, so there may be better value Intel CPU options these days, although, they may not run as cool as the AMD you’ve selected.

Is the 6700XT cheaper than the 3060 Ti in Germany? If so, consider it.

Go for an Airflow focussed case with mesh front panel instead of glass. You’ll be glad you did, especially in the warmer months. 4000D Airflow I can recommend & you can still see RGB through the front if you want that look.

Avoid Corsair’s RGB system. Start by not opting for their overpriced & poor performance/value RGB fans. You’ll be paying more money to have it all work in sync. Arctic have great value 3-pack ARGB fans that will perform better.

Air cooling’s good enough for that system. No need to pay more on an AIO. I know they look cool, but if it’s your first system, I’d go Air for now - less risky option that should last much longer, especially with the right case fans & CPU Cooler. & with the CPU cooler, you can go cheap with the 5600x, like a Thermalright Spirit Assassin 120 for example.

Samsung 970 Evo Plus is a good drive. I have a Kingston KC2500 which runs cooler & generally can be found for cheaper. It performs great & you won’t notice the difference. Get whichever one’s cheaper.

I can recommend Crucial Ballistix CL16 3600 RAM. They work well with the 5600x (XMP profile 1 on that motherboard will get the most out of it). If it’s cheaper than what you’re looking at, get it.
