They were alright, I've been using  7506's for the past six years, so I was trying to get away from the overly balanced sound that headphones like the  7506 and Spirits had.

personally i really hated the SE215's i had, i dont know, felt like something was horribly missing, they could have been defect though

Nope, mid range is some where in the basement. I use mine on road trips.
