What i have right now:

Nr200p case, Cooler Master V750 SFX Gold SFF, ASRock Z490 Phantom Gaming-ITX/TB3, ASUS RTX 3060, Intel Core i7-11700, G.Skill Trident Z RGB 32GB DDR4

I want to buy a better gpu (so i dont have to upgrade anytime soon)

My current choices are:

Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3090 Turbo

RTX 3080 Ti VENTUS 3X 12G OC

I've heard that 3090 is loud af, but its also compact and temps are good

Which one should i go with? Or maybe there is a third choice?

Also should i potentially upgrade to z690 + ddr5 + i7-12900 or its not worth the hassle?

A blowerstyle 3090? That backside VRAM is probably gonna cook like a forgotten turkey in the oven.

I'd go with the 3080 Ti, simply because of the cooler.

If it was a 3090 Ti, I'd have more trust in a blowerstyle, because all VRAM is on the front of the PCB.

I cant do 3090 TI since my psu simply doesn't have that much power (i dont think there is even sfx psu that can run that thing)

Anything on upgrading to alder lake?

Yeah true, folks on here would even argue that using a 750W for either a 3080 Ti or 3090 also is a mistake but I ran a ROG STRIX 3090 with a 750W from Corsair, though only with a 8700K but the PSU is like 10 years old or somthing and it worked perfectly. You have the i7-11700 with a pretty low power requirement, I'd say you are good with 750W in total but I can't say anything about your current PSU. Don't know much about it. And speaking of power requirements and your CPU, no, I personally would keep the 11700 and save the money. 12th gen is kinda buggy too, so why not save the cash and wait and see how 13th gen will do.

It's fast but the 11700 is not worth upgrading from .  You aren't anywhere near upgrade territory with that thing yet, it's a hyperthreaded 8 core that's way more than fast enough for any GPU on the market or anything that's gonna be coming out for at least a few years.

As a far as your GPU, if the only reason you want a better one is so you don't have to upgrade, I'll let you ponder the silliness of that for a second.  You want to upgrade so you don't have to upgrade...  Ig your games run on it just use it.  New cards will be faster, cheaper, more efficient, and have better features.  Never, ever overbuy a GPU when you have what you need.  It's the worst, most expensive component to 'fUtUrE pRoOf'.  You could spend $1300 on a 3080ti and then be mad when a $650 GPU 2 years from now is faster for 2/3 the power draw and half the price, and the 3060 would have been fine for those two years, so the money was completely wasted.

I edit the shit out of my posts.  Refresh before you respond.
