7 years old, whether this is the problem, probably you need to change it.

@SupaKomputa coolermaster say on theire product site it is rated for 100.000 hours wich equals around 11 years https://www.coolermaster.com/catalog/legacy-products/power/g450m/#specifications

yeah they could say anything, for budget psu, i recommend change it after one or 2 years warranty expired or max 5 years.

gpu drop out usually (not always) caused by lack power.

Ok so the important thing to note is the CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT error code. This usually points to a failing CPU. Is your CPU overclocked? If not then you should get a spare compatible cpu from a friend to rule out the possibility that CPU might have gone bad.

@ShebuAli

so i bought a used i7 7700k and used the intel tuning software for a couple of weeks half a year ago but the overclock wsnt stable so i put it back to clock speed. and before that  had a i5 6600. as soon as i find that i will test it out if it works better. before replacing should i maybe check the bios?

I do not have much experience with BIOS settings, but setting them to default might help too.

  • 2 weeks later...

@ShebuAli @SupaKomputa

quick update: i bought a new powersupply from seasonic i think they are pretty good. and i put my old i5 6600 in the pc now every thing works as it should. i also found that the gold contacts on my i7 7700k look a bit strange. any idea what those spots could be and how to clean? it.
