VPN - VIRTUAL MACHINE - VIRTUALBOX

Does anyone know if there is a way to have my vpn only setup inside my virtual machine ? at the moment I have to connect through my vpn on my host computer in order to access the network, if I try to connect to the vpn inside the virtual machine it just tells me that the password is wrong and that it can't connect.

 

I got 2 lan ports on my motherboard is it possible to use 1 for my VPN inside the VirtualMachine only and the other one for the host only ?

How is your virtual box connected to the network.

You want to goto the settings for the particular VM, click on network, change it to bridged adapter and then set it to the physical NIC you want to use.

then go to the network and sharing center, click on change adapter settings, highlight the VBox Virtual adapter and the physical NIC, Right click and go to bridge connections.

 

That should work.
