Quick electronics math question

So if I have two 12v 10amp batteries and connect them in series, does that 

= 24v 10amp 

 

Or 

 

=24v 20amp?

if you connected them in parallel it would be 12 V 20 A.

If you connect them in paraseries it would be 0V and 0A (after a brief moment of 12V and inf A).
