I've heard that this option doesnt shutdown your computer fully and keeps it on a low power state, unless the thing I read is wrong, I don't see why keep it on if you have the os on a ssd.

I don't understand what you are asking.

It's a feature. You want the system to startup quicker from shutdown state, enable it. If not, disable it.

The option is there is mostly in the case you are using legacy hardware with old drivers that don't support hibernation.

 

If you are wondering how it works, well it is simple.

It partially hibernates your system at shutdown. Anything that typically doesn't change in the OS boot up process is hibernated. This reduce load times, so the system is fatser at startup.

You read wrong.  This is not sleep.

The system is shutdown.
