Unless you're doing some wild out of this world overclocking, using a single 8pin is just fine.

Hello, i am currently building a new PC, i aleready got my PSU (EVGA 750 BQ) and i noticed that the mother-board that i am willing to buy (MSI PRO B660M-A WIFI DDR4) has the normal 8 pins for the CPU and an additional 4 pins connector, but on the PSU i only have the usual 8 pins connector, will it be safe to just plug the 8 pins connector and ignore the additional 4 one? or do i need an other motherboard?
