Hi everyone, I'm a server virgin, but my family business server recently got hacked and we're working on fixing it. In the meantime, I wanted to see if I could find a good company that sets up remote site backup (different location than current server). Does anyone know any good companies or even easy to use DIY software and hardware I could use to do this.

Thank you.

Do you have a IT provider or IT department? You probably want to get one of those if you don't already.

How are you backing up? What software? What OS?

Id probably go cloud storage, there are lots of s3 compatible storage providers out there, and a good amount of backup software like veeam can store backups on there.

Hey, I just found out, that my brother went ahead and hired a tech consultant and we already got a quote. Thank you for the quick response and the suggestions. From the little I know so far, we are going with a cloud based back up and using our current server as a secondary back up. This may be incorrect, but I do not really understand any of this. Thank you again!!
