Have a new issue. Just installed a new CPU AMD 5 5600X  in a Aorus B550  Elite AX V2 Had a AMD 5600. in it and Worked fine.

After putting the  5600X in it would come up and say Memory PMU Training error at socket 0 channel 0 socket 1 and reset bios to factory.

I did not like this so i put the other CPU back in and all work fine again. Whats up with that. Memory is 4 sticks TForce 16 GB DDR4 3600.

All sticks show up in bios as 64Gb when I put the 5600X back in the bios does a rest again then it wont show a CPU clock speed but it still shows all 4 sticks as 64GB.

Then I get the  PMU error again.  Hope you can help.. Bios have not been updated. the only thing i see is 1 is 3d gen and the other is PCIE 4.0 .

I am thinking its a BIOS thing ..

Do you have your memory overclocked at all ( docp/xmp)?

is the ram type and configuration in the qvl  and listed for 4 sticks? Often times processors (especially ryzen) does not like having 4 sticks.  I purchased extra sticks for my 2700x and I had to down clock the 3000mhz memory to 2666mh to make it boot.

I just did that had new motherboard exact same B550 and set it up as a test bench. Only difference is newer Bois Ver.

Got new message with that  New cpu installed FTPM/psp corrupted.but i know what that is. just had to press Y to reset FTPM,  all works fine CPU shows up in Bios as it should. So on the motherboard  i want to put it in I should update the Bois in it !?

Should Be fine. But in the motherboard I want to put it in is running windows 10 . I do not want to lock my self out so how do i know if I am using Bit-locker. just checked in settings sorry Bit-locker is  off in  for all drives..Long story  CPU works and i see it in bios.

after all that did I answer my own Question..
