So I am going to buy a XSPC Raystorm EX240 watercooling kit for either $150 or $170 soon, but I need help with some of it. So should I cool my distiller water overnight before putting it in my loop or just buy it from the store and leave it out? Another question is should I use anything besides a silver coil to kill algae? My final question is if someday I decide to put another rad and a gpu block in my system what kind of block can I get for my EVGA 660tI ftw signature 2 edition

Ok firstly. Dont get that kit. reservoir/Pump combos leak/fail/ and dont do the L/hour they are ment to. Many posts on this forum are about damage caused by the leaking reservoir combos.

Build your own... If you cant afford it then stick to air cooling for now.

the DI water and install it, don't need to boil/cool it and the kill coil or biocide will be fine.

you'd use a 680 waterblock for your 660ti FTW card. this would be a plus if you upgraded to

a 680 or some 770 cards.

i water cooled SLI 660ti cards and found it quite useful, especially with a BIOS reflash

with more voltage. it may be meh to you, but not to everyone....

Yea, my 660ti is a great card, it can still get around 60-65 fps on bf4 ultra and over 115 on high. Overall it is still a great card.
