Other details: Already bought the case (Phanteks Enthoo Pro Full Tower) and have an existing wired mouse. I'm saving up, but I'm planning on buying the graphics card within 2 weeks. Going to play at 1920x1080p at 144hz. No ethernet cable, so I have to settle for WiFi compatible boards, sorry.

80+ rating is not a measure of quality. 

 

650W is definitely enough for the build he's got now. I wouldn't worry about more unless he thinks he'll go to a 3070-class card or above in the near future. 

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.
