Budget (including currency): >$600 USD

Country: U.S.

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: CorelDraw, DaVinci Resolve, PUBG, Minecraft, various other games.

I need help finding what CPU and GPU would be best for a ''budget'' pc build to use for graphic design, photo/video editing and some casual gaming.

TIA!

Intel's new 12400F offers some of the best value for a CPU we've had in a while at $180 most days. This is where things get tricky: The remaining $420 lands you between an RTX 3050 or RX 6600 right now. The former has much better workspace features, while the latter is just straight up faster by a notable chunk. If possible, I'd recommend waiting to snag an RTX 3060 when they drop to this price - that shouldn't be far away at all & it's vastly superior to the RX 6600 for your use case if the prices are comparable.
