i have this problem in my pc where the screen kind of flickers, but sometimes it covers half the screen, and sometimes the entire screen.

here's a video if it was hard to understand (sorry english is not my first language)

Specs:

Ryzen 3 3100

MSI A320M-a Pro Max

Corsair CX650

AsRock Challenger RX5500 XT

2x8Gb RAM HyperX 3200mhz.

and a really old Bangho monitor, i think the native resolution is 1024x768 but im not sure, i use it in 1920x1080 because it looks terrible in 1024x768 (recommended) it is 60hz, and it only has a VGA connector, (i use a VGA to HDMI adapter)

as i said, its really old (maybe 10 years) and it has been fixed before (it stopped working once like 4 years ago)

The problem is the flickering black screen, the light is caused by the camera (sorry for the quality)

What size is the screen?  you can get 21-24 inch screens for really cheap these days I was watching this video today funnily enough it may help you if you're on a tighter budget

(please watch past the 'typical' Linus intro lol)

With all the Trolls, Try Hards, Noobs and Weirdos around here you'd think i'd find SOMEWHERE to fit in!
