Hi, I'm new here and I would expect this topic might have been covered before but searching didn't give me the exact answer I was looking for.

I have a RTX3070 card which has 3xDP and 1xHDMI output. My PC has 2x 1440p 144hz monitors at my desk and I also have it connected to my TV via HDMI. I also have 3x 1440p 144hz monitors on my sim rig.

Currently I have the 2 monitors at my desk and 2 of the 3 sim rig monitors connected through a displayport switch so when I'm using the sim rig I just switch them over. This part isn't a problem as I don't need to be able to see the desk monitors when I'm at the rig. However each time I switch, it can sometime do some quirky things which I guess come from the graphics card thinking that one monitor was just disconnected and another connected.

Ideally I would like to connect each display without a switch. splitters seem to not allow the 1440p 144hz I want for each display from what I could find so my next thought was to add a cheap(ish) second GPU but use it only to display while the 3070 does all the hard work. Firstly, is that even possible? Could someone please advise on how to set this up if it can be done? I only need up to 4 displays active at any one time so hopefully that won't be a limitation.

Thanks in advance for your help!

P.S. I have a 5600X so the motherboard display out isn't an option from what I understand.
