Hi,

I just want to ask if someone had a solution to a problem that I encountered?

I am accessing a PC through network sharing, TightVNC remote tool, and even try to ping that PC's IP but it is not visible to my PC. but on another PC in the same network that PC can be accessed and has a ping. I narrow the problem to my pc but don't know the next step to fix it. can anyone help me with my problem?. Thanks!

You'll need to provide more info. What operating systems are we talking about, are there any firewalls set up that might block access?

Are you certain all of these machines are on the same network? What are the internal IPs and netmasks on these machines? Since you can ping from one machine but not the other, it's likely they are not actually part of the same network. I assume all of these machines are connected to the same router and get their address through DHCP?

I doubt operating system is the problem since the in different version of windows( 7/8.1/10 ) can access the pc that I can't access. also IP range and Vlan is not the problem since other VLAN can access both TightVNC remote tool, Network sharing and Ping of the PC that I can't access. The only problem is on the PC that I use. I can access it days before, but until yesterday I had this problem that I can't.

To give you an example.

Windows 10 with ESET Antivirus with an IP 10.44.0.124 that has a fortinet firewall in the netowrk can access the PC Windows 10 with an IP 10.44.10.246

Windows 8.1 with ESET Antivirus with an IP 10.44.8.11 that has a fortinet firewall in the netowrk can access the PC Windows 10 with an IP 10.44.10.246

Windows 10 with ESET Antivirus with an IP 10.44.8.59 that has a fortinet firewall in the netowrk CANNOT access the PC Windows 10 with an IP 10.44.10.246

Windows 10 with ESET Antivirus with an IP 10.44.8.24 that has a fortinet firewall in the netowrk can access the PC Windows 10 with an IP 10.44.10.246

but those PC with IP's that can access the PC with an IP 10.44.10.246 can Access the problem PC that has  an IP 10.44.8.59.

Tried Checkdisk / Tried Sfc scannow / Tried system restore.
