Boot drive always full

Go to solution Solved by Jsos16,

You could clone your drive but a fresh install of your OS on a new drive is the way to go. Don't forget that hard drives are like light bulbs. Not a matter of if they are going to fail but when. I would highly recommend you disconnect your old hard drive when you go about installing your OS on your new drive to avoid potential complications that could arise.

Good luck.

My boot drive is almost always full it has like 3-6gb free sometimes. I wanted to know if i can transfer windows and the rest of the data to a bigger boot drive the current one is 120 i think. Thanks for the help

This is exactly why I spec a 1TB primary drive minimum in anything I recommend or build.

I don't badmouth others' input, I'd appreciate others not badmouthing mine. *** More below ***

Due to the above, I've likely revised posts <30 min old, and do not think as you do.
