Hey guys,
so basically i was playing rocket league when my kid bro (2 yo) walked is and crying to press keys.
I let him do it in the trains arena for like 5mins but when i was about to put him down, he spammed a whole lot of keys and the game crashed. i thought he probably just closed it (idk how)
but ever since, most apps keep crashing at launch. Even after multiple attempts at restart/shutdown and windows trouble shooter.
Just yesterday, windows didn't boot properly either which is a first since i built it just last year.
Specs are

  • 10900kf
  • 16gb vengeance 2133
  • 1650 super
  • 250 NVMe
    500 sata

Affected apps Include:

  • All games
  • ALL web browsers (Brave, edge) (also had the chrome setup file and it to crashed after trying to download chrome)

Unaffected apps Include:

  • Discord
  • word doc
  • Epic game launcher
  • micro app store
  • files/settings

These are the only apps that i have confirmed.
if anyone knows a solution, plz help me out and tysm.

if it was that easy to damage a computer... Geeksquad would be flooded. More than likely a coincidence that it messed up after the kid touched the keyboard.

Did you do any sort of troubleshooting thus far? Did you boot into safemode with networking to see if it still crashed when using your browsers there?

CPU: AMD Ryzen 3700x / GPU: Asus Radeon RX 6750XT OC 12GB RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x16GB DDR4-3200
