Currently have the option of using an existing PCs or Laptop. Known specs provided:

Laptop is a Toshiba satellite L300D (Athlon 64 x2, 2gb ram, Radeon X2500) (Storage device will need to be replaced)

PC₁ is an Acer with the same CPU and 1gb of ram with 2 extra slots available, 4 SATA ports 

PC₂ Lenovo Core2 Duo machine.

The plan is to have at least 1TB of redundant storage and a 32-64gb system disk. 

 

using 2 WD blue 1TB 7200RPM (WD10EZEX) drives Mirrored, via SATA interface or adapted to USB for laptop. 

An ADATA SU655 (120gb) SSD can be used for the system
