So i will start!

 

Blood builds are pretty strong!

And that's just with the Uchigatana that i got at the start of the game,

Upgraded to +10 and changed the affinity to blood.

 

If i had the Rivers of Blood katana it would have been even better.

I just obtained it and am keen to try it out as I happen to have arcane as a decent stat. Its weapon skill reminds me of Sekiro's mortal draw. I quite liked the katana in the beginning, but quickly switched off of it once I found Bloodhound's Fang (mildly OP :P) and sadly the katanas that I found required decent INT which I didn't have as a mainly DEX/STR build. I'm currently switching between power-stancing Bloodhound's Fang + Morgott's Cursed Sword and Malenia's blade.

I had the same issue,my build is mainly DEX/VIGOR.

I use Uchigatana + Meteoric Ore,and sometimes switch the Meteoric Ore with a longbow.

The new update nerfs a lot of things really hard...

Even my blood build!

Luckily i installed the update in a sandbox so i still have the older version as well but the downside is offline only and no bug fixes,and other desirable updates.

 

It takes a lot of time to make a build,and they just ruin all of that hard work on a whim.

 

And blood builds are strong but not op...

There are stuff that are a lot more powerful than a Bloody Slash.

On the other hand they fixed Rivers of Blood,so maybe i will install the update and use that instead of my Blood Ucigatana.
