Hello, 

 

I don't know if this in the write spot or not if not let me know. 

 

I am trying to see if there is a program that can look a directory of files and then turn around and auto move them to the folders they need to be in. 

 

So for example say you have a batch of pictures taken over a 10 year time and would like to organize them by year then month and day in there folders and sub folders can this be done. or is there a program that can already do this that is out there. This could be pictures documents videos and so on.

there's a lot of options for this, but i've found that as long as you dont write a script to do this yourself (and this is possibly the easiest project to pick up scripts with) it's gonna do *something* you dont want it to do.
