Hi I’m trying to upgrade my current build by better integrating wifi and Bluetooth. I got a new rog strix b450 board. I have been previously using a usb 3 wifi dongle, but after having some issues with it as of late I decided now with the extra pcie lanes I can just throw a wifi card in and maybe get one that has Bluetooth too. So I bought an MSI AC905C and as I was trying to throw it in I noticed it has a usb 2.0 connector (I should have paid attention to this and made sure I had an open slot for it, but I didn’t) and my current port is being used for the case fans (I’m pretty sure). Would it be possible to use both connectors via a splitter? Or am I better off maybe getting an adaptor to use the com port? Or am I just SOL?

(first time posting, sorry if this isn’t categorized correctly)

You should have 2 USB 2.0 headers on that board if memory serves (I had one years ago). Scratch that, looks like newer revisions of the board only have 1. You will need a splitter, they should work so long as you find a decent one. Bluetooth chip doesn't pull much power and I assume the fans are using it to control RGB so that shouldn't be a power hog either, so you won't need a SATA or Molex powered one.
