A friend of mine has a computer in his home that has a motherboard with a broken capacitor. (It's torn from the board, it might be blown) He has files on the computer that his family wants to use, but the board won't boot due to the capacitor being broken. I told him he would either have to get a new motherboard, or the whole computer is blown and he would have to get a new one. To my knowledge, everything else works except the motherboard.
I'm asking you guys what I should tell him to do, and what CPU is from the board, so I can get a new one if it's a considerable option. The picture of it is down below. I know it's a Intel Pentium of some sort.

Look at the top, the port number should be on there. It's socket LGA775 however, I can tell you that much.

You can also just recover the file by just plugging the drive into another PC.

just take the hard drive out and plug it into another computer then take all the files they need off and tell them to get a new pc mainly cause the one in the picture looks outdated
