also put an extra ssd in for 500g

any idea whats useful to upgrade or what to look out for? i'm not too great at pcs and could use some help

Budget (including currency): irrelevant

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

Idk. Seems like a damn nice gaming system to me. Might want to upgrade the cooler to a simple thing like a sycthe fuma 2 so the 2700x doesn't get too hot. Might be fine rn but a h510 case doesn't exactly have the best airflow.

What makes you feel the need to upgrade again?

No real need. Just curious if there are any issues with it or things that could need upgrading. potentially looking to the future for what might be worth saving up for an upgrading piece by piece.

Flash the bios and upgrade the CPU.

The 2700X is a bottleneck for the 3070 in some situations, in others it simply underperforms compared to anything more modern with the same amount of cores or more.

so what would you suggest for an upgraded cpu then? i've been thinking about doing that already but unsure what to pick etc.

Couple things you can do:

Flash bios upgrade to 5800X as @191x7 said

Get a 1 or 2 TB SSD with a dram cache. Some options:

Storage: ADATA XPG GAMMIX S11 Pro 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive  (€126.39 @ Amazon Netherlands)
Storage: Western Digital WD_BLACK SN750 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive  (€133.84 @ Amazon Netherlands)
Storage: Mushkin Pilot-E 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive  (€129.90 @ Amazon Netherlands)
Storage: PNY CS2130 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive  (€114.90 @ Amazon Netherlands)

Get a nicer CPU cooler

Case upgrade maybe?

What peripherals do you have, you already have a very good pc so you might want to upgrade headset , mouse , keyboard or get wireless ones

also what monitor do you use because its pointless having a good pc without a good monitor/ maybe dual monitors.

Hope this helps
