Windows Explorer FUBAR

this happens after I tried installing a new SSD at D: . but even after removing the new SSD, this still persists. also, trying to run cmd on the start menu causes file explorer to hang. I had to run cmd via task manager and run new task.

try running "sfc /scannow" in cmd. maybe try rebuilding index, not sure if this could help, but can't hurt either. not sure if either of those is in that link, i am not going to read through that to see what you have tried lol

yea, I already tried sfc /scannow multiple times
along with DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

just tried rebuilding index too, doesn't work

try swapping out your ram. try one ram at a time and in different slots

Disconnect the SSD, fully unplug the computer, wait 10mins, reconnect and try again.
