Any suggestions I haven't tried yet. My pc out of no where started disabling my gpu and I can't tell if it locked up or just disabled gpu. Then on reboot I re-enable and reboot again and it's fine for a bit but while it's disabled it's still displaying as I have no onboard gpu. I did add ram recently so I immediately thought it was that but I can pass usb boot memtest86 4 pass. I've taken the new sticks out and it's still happening. I would hate it to be my gpu but it's looking that way. I have let the gpu mine very conservatively with a pretty big underclock and undervolt so I'm not stressing it, like 980mhz and a slight undervolt on the vram but don't touch the speed. It's locking up no mater what the gpu set to. I've also reset windows and deleted all files. Once booted I can pass different memory tests and things like cinebench without issues but walk away for a bit and come back to a black screen that won't wake. Any help appreciated as I don't have the money to get a new gpu, if it is even that. Need to get parts for 3 pcs for the family so we all get OK hardware but nothing fancy but can't even get a used gpu with the shortage. Thanks

Gigabyte b450m ds3h wifi with current bios

32g 4x8 Ballistix 3000mhz xmp(I've tested with xmp off but 2 sticks are older than the other 2 but they identical speed/timings/die micron-e)

Rx 580 8g(will try reflashing bios tonight but never have flashed the gpu)

No just top pcie slot. I've tried both power connectors to rule that out as well. I've ddu uninstalled all drivers before and after a fresh copy of windows as well.

Tried installing the GPU in other system or use other GPU in this system?

I'm suspecting unstable pcie signaling, reminds me of my GPU disconnecting randomly because I'm using risers on them, had to reseat the risers to get better connection

One other thing you may try is to lower the pcie generation to 2.0 instead of auto (3.0), see if that helps. Don't think you mentioned about reseating the GPU, so you can try that as well

Sorry yea I've pretty much rebuilt whole pc. I bought used like a month ago and ran fine until 4 days ago. I took my gpu out of my old system and gave the better built rx 580 that came with the pc to my girlfriend. It's better brand and cooling but only 4g vs 8g. Mine is a junk dell reference blower model but I've always kept it under like 75c most it's life because since only 1080p 60fps I can game fine with only 1ghz clock and just idle mining when I'm away from pc. I have it set so low I only get 22-23 MH but only pull 74-80watts since dells model already only had I think 110watt max only 1 6pin. I plan on throwing it back in the Dell 5675 it came from and reflashing bios there to see if that helps. But I'll try the gen 2 when I get home. I never thought of that. It always ran gen2 in the Dell but it still ran for about 3 weeks fine and maybe 1 week on windows 11 but pretty much the day after the extra ram went in problems started. When I got it, it only had 8g and I got a 16 2x8 and had all 3 8g sticks in running that whole time fine until I got the other set of 2.

Any issues on 10?

I didn't have any issues on 10 or 1st week on 11. It still might be worth trying a fresh copy on 10 again. Only other newer things that have been added about the same time was a old external hdd that the AC adapter went out so gutted it and plugged it into pc and a small 3.5in Turing screen. When I get home today I'll prob disconnect most non essential and see how it goes. I thought for sure it was the ram and let memtest86 go all night but was disappointed finding it all passed b4 going to work today

Try things one by one, see which one is the culprit

I haven't specifically seen any issues with w11, but that's my suspicion

Yea I think it's either gpu, psu, or mobo now. I didn't get a chance to try gpu in another pc yet but passes the amd stress test. I disconnected a few drives but made no diff. I might just grab a cheap psu to rule that out because I'll need 1 once I build a pc for my kid since he still using a Dell. But it's not bad besides the forced obsoletion locked to 1st gen ryzen. I got a glass side panel for it and threw a few cheap fans in and they make a huge diff since pcs stay on all day and lightly mine. Don't make much but it's got us a few pc upgrades. Waiting to see if it crashes now. I went back 1ver bios. I would test that dell psu but there are so many wires bundled and looks like a nightmare. I may go back to w10 and see what happens. Thanks again for the tips!

So your suspicion looks like you were right. I've been trying everything and then noticed under hidden devices my USB device was listed as a IDE unknown device. I manually installed the driver on windows 10 and it was a USB Com device on 10 but I guess since it was unsigned W11 went hold my beer watch this. So removed driver and it was fine for a while but still locked up with my status screen installed so went back to W10 and it's been running for over 24hr without a lockup but haven't tried reinstalling the screen yet as I want to make 100% sure everything else running good for a few days before reinstalling it on w10 and make a backup b4 I do
