Are there any phones that meet these specs?

headphone jack (sorry this is a must)

verizon (cdma) compatible

android (anotehr must I really don't want an iphone)

4k or 1440p60 video (I'd prefer this but I can deal with lower)

okay low light photography (I need to take good pictures of my pc otherwise r/battlestations won't love me)

>60hz refresh rate

decent battery life (8 hours of light use maybe?)

okay performance (at least 3000 3dmark maybe?)

Currently still getting software updates

screen res doesn't matter as long as it is at least 1080p

I'd prefer it as cheap as possible but I have a hard cap of $700. Feel free to suggest higher priced phones but my wallet is still recovering from a 3080.

Why not just buy a used Note 9 or a Gaming style phone?

Also 4k Video on a phone sensor is pretty stupid, just as how 8k video is just dumb. Careful for what you wish for 😛

well most phones now have gotten rid of the headphonejack, If you want a modern phone with it, you pretty much have to go Asus ROG phones, or one of the cheaper gaming phones and deal with that, but i dont think they are CDMA i think they are only gsm. so its pretty difficult.

Pixel 5a is an option. It has a headphone jack, is still getting software updates, good screen for the price, great camera for the price, really good battery life. Only thing it doesn't really meet is high refresh rate and the performance, while plenty enough for basic tasks, if you're going to be gaming on this phone it will leave some to be desired. I've daily'd the 4a (the same phone with a smaller battery and a smaller screen) for a while now and it is a pretty good phone, snappy, fast enough for my needs, I managed to get 3 days of use out of one full charge just by topping it up on short drives (<15 minutes both ways slow charging) with relatively light use.

S10e, root it, and get the gcam port. Ancient os will get HELLA updates.

I mean a s9/note 9 meats most of those requirements they get a score on 3d mark of around 4000-6400 points in slingshot that or even a s10/note 10 would do that headphone jack requirement is a tuff one to pair with a 60+ hz display requirement

I use Poco X3 NFC. You can check the specs here:

But to recap:

Yes, it has a combo jack.

Not sure about this because I live in Malaysia, but I believe the global version should work.

MIUI 12 OS based on Android 11.

Unfortunately, it's only 4k30p. If you activate EIS, you can only record 1080p30p.

Another unfortunate, but I did try using in low light condition with a tripod. Not great, actually, but doable.

Definitely, according to GSM Arena, it has 120Hz IPS display.

So far my Poco last me close to 24 hours. I tried watching Youtube for 5 or 6 hours straight and from almost full charge it drop to around 40%. It has a big battery (5160mAh).

I don't do benchmark, but this phone has SnapDragon 732G. It's not the fastest or the highest, but it's close to high end.

Yes, but I think only for another year or maybe until Android 12

2400x1080, so I think it fits in there.

This phone is relatively cheap (I think about USD250) when I purchase this back in 2020 Christmas. Mine is only 64GB Storage with 6GB RAM. This phone only support 4G LTE however. But overall, it is a good daily driver. It's not a bad phone, not the high-end one definitely, but quite the budget friendly option if I may say.

Xiaomi POCO about to launch the X4, but I haven't check into much detail about it.

Anyway, if you are interested, you may check this list for something similar to your requirements. It has 3.5mm headset jack for sure, able to record 4k 30p video at least and the budget is about 600 Euro (which translate to roughly USD695) or lower. All of these running on Android 10 the minimum, and those newer phones will have support for software updates and Android upgrade.
