Custom Loop or SSD's and HDD's

So a few of the things that i would like to add to my system is a custom loop and SSD's. Both of these will eventually be added.

 

 

So a full custom loop with a 360 and 240 mm radiator or two 250GB SSDs and a 2TB HDD

Yes, once i had it i would start to build up media, which i could just get a dedicated NAS

SSD as a custom loops don't have a very tangible performance gain except overclocking further / being quieter.

I couldn't, its a non-reference design. Also it would be just a CPU loop for a while until i can get another $500 to get what ever is equivalent to a 780 at that time.

A new graphics card. This will provide more of a tangible benefit than the other upgrades, and will allow you to buy a waterblock in a few months or whatever when you put it all under water.

However, if you live by the little quote near your picture, you've given yourself the answer.

Though I will say I think CPU-only custom loops look kind of silly, but that's subjective.

If you have your heart set on storage or a loop, I'd say go for the loop sans one radiator and get an SSD and/or a HDD (two large radiators is overkill for just a CPU, anyway). If all you've got is that 500GB in your sig, you need a storage upgrade.

I changed it just as you replied. I will choose colours over performance. Im getting thin power coated white rads instead of thick black ones when i do get the loop and honestly that little 660Ti plays all my games for now. I might end up getting EVGA's 6GB 780 so i can use it for a while (I will only get it if its reference) and honestly im just now getting to the point where i have less that 100GB empty on my HDD and i don't really plan to fill it up to much more unless i had the extra space.

A little shouldn't be a problem but saying badass isn't cursing. Also it's just not worth it.
