Getting rid of my old HDD - Tools or methods for transfering

If it's for a data drive (not OS) you can use FreeFileSync, set to mirror mode, it'll scan what's on both sides and update what needs to be.

Hello everyone

So, i got my hands on a 2tb Sata SSD to take over from my old 2tb WD Green HDD. I also already copied the entire drive onto my SSD, but then life and low attentionspan happend, and i never got around to disconnet my old HDD.

Therefore i would like some advide on how to pick up the slack. I'd really like to get rid of the HDD noise as well as making sure i don't have something critical on it, as its on its 8th year now. Also, some of my games ect seems to draw on ressources on the HHD as they load slowly with the classic jitter noise.

Addendum, will it make sense to just tough it out until i get my crap together and upgrade my old CPU, and then just save my pictures and documents somewhere, and wipe everything else for a fresh install. My current CPU is a i5-4690k, so an upgrade is realistic within a year - im just waiting to see if Ryzen 7000 upsets the market in a good way.

mITX is awesome! I regret nothing (apart from when picking parts or have to do maintainance *cough*cough*)
