TUF Gaming B550M Plus WiFi won’t boot using dual channel memory

Hello all. 
 

I just recently got parts for a new PC I want to build, I noticed that my system won’t boot when installing the RAM in dual channel.
 

I discovered that the motherboard won’t pass from the DRAM light when installing any RAM sticks in any or both A1 and A2 channel (first two ones from the socket). 
 

This doesn’t happen when installing them in one or both B1 and B2 channels. 
 

Both RAM sticks seem to work I can boot with either stick as long as is seated in any B channels. 
 

I have updated the bios on the motherboard to the latest non beta version. 

 

I have re seated the stock amd cooler three times and look for bent Pins in the processor but i don’t see any. 

Although I dropped the processor earlier and noticed it’s damaged at the bottom near the outer most line of the pins. 

 

Could this be the problem? If not what else can I check?

 

Here my setup:

•  Ryzen 5 5600G. 
• Asus Tuf Gaming B550M Plus WiFi. 
• Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 16GB kit (2x8GB) 3600Mhz. 
• NZXT C750 power supply. 
• Crucial P2 NVMe 500GB SSD.

Erm...

 

Once some unknown physical damage has taken place, it can be hard not to assume this is the cause. One bad drop = one bad memory channel sometimes.

So, you've tried a bunch of incorrect ways of installing the RAM, but have you tried the correct way, yet?

 

Install the RAM in A2 & B2 per page 1-9 of the manual:

I tried the correct ways:

 

A2 & B2  doesn’t work 

B2 only, works

 

Then i tried the incorrect ways to test all the DIMM slots.

Hello, thanks for the replies.

 

I'm going to test with a different Motherboard since that is the thing i can easily replace but it's going to take me some time. I will close this topic and hopefully the new HW will fix this.

Hello again. It was the MoBo, I got a MSI B550-A Pro and it seems that the CPU is intact.
