Is Windows Firewall Enough?

I’m looking to move away from my anti virus + firewall provider (Norton) and moving to using Windows Security. My question is, would relying on Windows Firewall be sufficient. Additionally, can I prevent outgoing connections using Windows Firewall?

What is your threat model? What are you worried about?

For almost all home users, windows firewall and defender will be plenty. You also don't have to worry about most attacks anyways as your router will block them.

Unless you visit and/or download dodgy sites/software you are fine.
