Unable to connect to ethernet with the ethernet cable plugged in.

Go to solution Solved by Cr33ps,

Have you installed the drivers for it?

Hi guys , i have build a new pc for someone with the following specs and I am unable to connect to the ethernet.

i5 11500 (non f)

msi h510m bomber

8gbx2 crucial ballistix with xmp 3200mhz ( currently runing at 2666mhz )

1tb samsung 980 (non pro) boot drive in m.2 slot

seasonic core gm-550

windows 10 home unactivated .os build 19044.1288

no gpu

I have used the same ethernet cable on another pc and it works fine.

I have also tried the following to solve this problem

1,reset bios

2,reset network

3,reset window

4,use m flash to update to the latest bio found here https://tw.msi.com/Motherboard/H510M-BOMBER/support#down-manual

5,unplug everything in the pc and plug it back again

At first the ram was running at 3200mhz however after turning it on the second time it became 2666mhz? not sure what happened but I just leave it as it is since the new gear thing that intel have is confusing

Any help will be appreciated
