Hey, this issue has been presented for a while now, but I've decided to attempt to fix it.
The battery icon usually present directly on my taskbar had a while ago stop displaying the menu usually offered when clicked to change to power saving mode, or change power plan settings. When clicked it usually brings up a loading icon then nothing else. For quick reference the pc I'm using is a laptop, specially an Alienware m17 r3 whose specs are a 2070 super, i9 10th gen. I'm most likely assuming this is due to the hot garbage that is alienware and dell software
Any ideas?

can you right click on it or is all forms of interaction not working?

can you hover over the icon and show the message?

can you get into the mobility center thing in windows?

there is an attached video in the initial post showcasing all the answers for your reply.
