So as I said in my other post, I had the brilliant idea to use my main machine to try and test sticks of corsair LPX one at a time and after 3 sticks didn't work I figured my cpu just didn't like the ram. So I booted back with one stick of the original ram and the PC hung for a long time, I shut down and put all of the sticks in and booted again, this time the win10 install said it didn't have my pin anymore and I had to reset it and the display was at 800x600 while only showing on my second monitor.
Went into display settings and only 1920x1080 is available and nvidia control panel won't launch. Same thing on my win11 install. On both of them it refuses to install the nvidia driver and both of them hang on the loading screen for what feels like forever. I'm in the process of backing up and wiping both of my drives and starting over, it's about time for a fresh install anyways.
Oh and the uefi had been reset, which I went though and put back to how I think it was.
Can I get any thoughts?
It was either clearing CMOS (thought it was the second time) or it was the vertical gpu bracket with riser that was causing a problem, maybe unseated it partially. Either way it's working now.
