So I'm trying to install windows 11 off a bootable usb drive and it's telling me it's not compatible. I thought it was a lack of a TPM 2.0 Chip, so I look it up and my motherboard is not listed as compatible but a reddit thread tells me that because I have an AMD CPU my TPM chip is in the CPU, which in BIOS I find that it has a fTPM 2.0 chip and is compatible. So I save, pull out the USB and restart. Yet it again it doesn't work, which is strange because all my hardware excluding the temp GT 730 is pretty new and up to date. Any ideas on why its not working? I can get a picture if that's needed but it's just the "Your system is compatible with Windows 11. Go to ms.something for more information"

fTPM needs to be enabled in the BIOS.

Also technically Win11 needs a DX12 compatible GPU and a GT730 isn't, not sure if it checks for it at install time though.

In UEFI BOIS I enabled fTPM and it still didn't work, so I guess its the GPU. I'm still trying to get my hands on a 3070 to tie the build together

Looks like it is the GPU

yo was looking at some nvidia forums and some people are on windows 11 with the gt 730 even though they do have some issues

Yeah you can bypass it but microsoft says that there may be some issues with it but if you are upgrading to a 3070 and use the drivers correctly then it should be fine
