I have two graphics card, the first being a GTX 650 TI Boost and a GT 1030. in 2018 I built a new pc for myself it's platform was built with an Asus prime B450-m Motherboard, Ryzen 3 2200g 16 gigs of G skill ripjaw memory, four 4 gigs sticks and a 650 watt EVGA PSU though and at the time i had an RX 580 that i had with the platform, but that graphics died so I started using my GTX 650 TI boost, the card works great, its not bad only game i play is World Of Warcraft so it gave me 60 FPS with customized graphics the way I like it, well, recently i just Built myself a new PC which is my current PC, it has an Asus Strix B450-F motherboard pared with a Ryzen 7 3700x 32 gig of trident z royal memory, 500 gig Samsung 980 m.22 drive, and an ASUS Thor 850 watt PSU I had tried putting the 650 Ti boost with this new build and the pc stutters lags out, black screen comes back and its operates for about a few 2nds, So at first i thought it was the CPU so I switched to my Ryzen 3 2200g to test and it worked just fine, stuck my new cpu in the older build and it worked, So this is where the GT 1030 comes into play, The GT 1030 works wonderful in the new pc build although its trash and i can't play any games with 20 fps, but it gives out graphics, The 650 Ti boost works wonderful in my old PC build it doesn't lag out or stutter doesn't freeze or black screens, The GT 1030 is newer Mar 12th, 2018 with the 650 ti boost being made sometime in 2013, Is there a way for the graphic card to be to old to function with this newer setup if so that doesn't make any sense. But the GT 1030 works wonderful in both builds, I had also put the 650 ti boost in another pc, its a family members and it didn't work in his machine either, so is the GTX 650 ti boost just to old for newer cpu's or newer hardware all together? or could the PCIE slot be damaged and only enough power current to power the Gt 1030? or could there be an issue with the PSU cause the 650 ti boost takes a 6 pin connector, but i also stuck the 650 ti boost in the old build without connecting the 6 pin connector and it worked like it didn't even need it,  Yes I'm planning on purchasing a new graphics card, but my down fall is i don't want another company other than ASUS is the graphics card predicament we're in! although the 650 TI boost is a EVGA model and the Gt 1030 is a MSI model i'm just using them to get a picture. I do have a friend that said the graphics card could be too old, and hes gonna let me test the new pc with his RTX 2080 any other ideas you all think i should try to do or is it just the 650 ti boost not being compatible?
