Should we regulate mobile ads?

  1. 1. Should we have a standard required size of the exit button in mobile ads

  2. 2. Do you think that there should be a maximum amount of time for mobile ads that take over your phone?

    • Yes
    • No
    • Should be allowed to skip ad immediately
  3. 3. How much time do you think the maximum limit should be

    • 5 secs

I don't think I'd mind them as much if they weren't all crap like "DOWNLOAD EPIC CLASH OF WAR TODAY ON THE APP STORE AND GOOGLE PLAY!" or the same drag-your-number-onto-lesser-numbers game under a million different names and reskins.

What really grinds my gears are the "download our app to keep scrolling!" pop-ups. They're more prevalent on mobile, but they've been slowly infecting the desktop browsing experience too. I don't want to download a million different apps (half of which are just skinned browsers anyway), I just want to keep reading the page I'm on!

I sold my soul for ProSupport.

Exactly. The other thing that is annoying is the whole thirst trap ads, as well as the ads that try to show the game as something that it actually isn’t.

This is probably the main reason I rarely browse the web on mobile. Ads that block the interface, autoplay videos floating around the page, tons of gambling and even some bloatware. I really wouldn't mind them so much if they were better organized and the content promoted wasn't so low quality.

I can agree with that
