Best M.2 SSD?

Broth3rz

I bought the WD SN850 back when they came out and they seems good I guess but I had an issue with the one I got and went through a 2 month nightmare trying to diagnose the issues I was having which ending up being the SSD. Now it seems the SSD is starting to act up again. I'd like to doa  fresh OS install anyways. I don't wanna use these SN850's anymore.

I do video editing, music composition, so I'm dealing with HUGE file sizes of libraries that can be easy 150GB. So I need the most reliable and fastest M.2 out there. I need 2 2TB, though I really want a 2TB and 4TB but its too much money. What would you all recommend?

I'm looking at the MP600, SAMSUNG 980 PRO, Kingston KC3000, and the Seagate FireCuda 530. Is there anything better than these? Which do you think is best?

Here is the comparison link: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Productcompare?CompareItemList=20-236-813%2C20-248-194%2C9SIB89MGZJ0795

Looking at benchmarks... the 980 Pro is the loser.. the other 2 really seem, benchmark wise the same? Though the MP600 is a lot cheaper and already comes with a heatsink. But it does have less MTBF... what you all think?

Thanks!

Reviews/comparisons exist so you can look those up, all I can give you is anecdotes. I've been buying Samsung SSD's for many years and never had an issue. The Warranty system is also solid.

I had one before and never had issues but it seems quite slower compared to the other 2. Plus the Samsung is only 3 year warranty while the other 2 are 5 year.

I think the FireCuda is too much money vs the MP600 that is mainly just as fast ... but again it has much less MTBF than the FireCuda. Not sure which, benchmarks don't seem to help much. I think buying 2 Mp600 is the way to go...

I did just find the Kingston KC3000.. but it has no reviews.... seems like the best buy though... Thoughts? Which would you all chose?

That seems to be what I'm seeing. If I had more money I'd get the FireCuda but I'ma go with the MP600 XT, 2 2TB.
