As the title says, I have a Galaxy Watch Active 2 and a Galaxy Buds Live which was connected to a Samsung phone I had before. I bought a OnePlus 9 Pro today, and tried connecting both via the Galaxy Wearable app. None of the two devices are going past the first stage, where the error says "Not able to install required Plug-Ins" for both. Is there any fix for this? They're not getting installed via apkmirror too.  The apps not installing are:

1. Watch Active Plug-In 2

2: Samsung Service Accessory

3. Galaxy Buds Live Plug-In

Is there any fix, or will my samsung devices not work with my OP ever? Please advice me, thanks!

It's a OnePlus, of course there's a fix it's just a matter of how far do you want to go into.  So I use a Galaxy watch, my wife uses a Active watch on our OnePlus phones (8T s though).

When you open these items up in the Play store do they just say incompatible with your device?  From apk mirror are you side loading them?

I assume you are completely stock, not unlocked, rooted etc? For the play store, if it's saying incompatible, changing the device fingerprint will work around this. However this will require rooting. So you may not want to do this?

For Apkmirror you should be able to install the correct packages. Are you sure you are grabbing the correct architectures?

Finally, you could just install a completely different OS. It is a OnePlus device. Your device has official Lineage support for example.

Yes true.

Yeah I do not want to go into rooting or custom ROMs as I've never done those before, and I especially do not want to brick my new daily use device. A lot of things depend on it so I do not want to try anything.

Is there no proper fix for it natively?

That is what the MSM tool is for. It's generally pretty hard to brick a OnePlus device. The MSM Tool puts it back to factory, even if it won't turn on / boot. There are a couple things unique to each device, that it won't replace, but you back those up right away before you mess with anything. (Modem/EFS / Persist / etc)

I've honestly never run stock software? First thing I do on every device, is unlock it and install Lineage. Usually for me changing the device fingerprint cures my issue with device compatibility errors.

So did the APKs install from APKMirror? If so do they have the necessary permissions? Did the Galaxy Wearable App install ok?

Yes the main app installed alright, it's the plugin apps not installing.

Not even through APKMirror

Wait does your browser have permissions to install unknown apps in settings? Have you tried downloading the file then opening it from file browser?

I don't want to wipe any of my active devices, but I have a 5T that's extra that's not in use right now that I could test this on. However I believe it would get OOS if I went back to stock on it. Isn't OP using Color OS at this point?
