Have suddenly noticed a really strange bug.  My Vizio 4K TV always listed 3820x2160 as the recommended resolution, but would also take a normal 4096x2160 input (both looked pretty much identical).  Suddenly today, when I use the computer with the TV I noticed black bars on each side with 3820 that normally aren't there.  Tried setting both the Windows 10 resolution and the NVidia control panel and both act the same - have to set to 4096x2160 to get rid of the bars.  BUT now none of my games fill the screen properly.  I normally use 2560x1440 for most games and the screen goes right back to having the bars.  Also, when I try to adjust the format in the TV nothing happens (won't override to go wider or stretch).  I know it's not an update to the TV because it's not attached to the network, and everything else has been fine.  Any ideas?

Thanks!!

NEW ISSUE - so I tried a different device (my XBox 360) and 1080p and 720p both filled the screen properly, so is something from NVidia (maybe a game-ready driver issue).  What part of the NVidia control panel would override a normal stretch/fill of a screen?  Is there an integer adjustment or something?

FIXED!  Turned out that it was some 'flutter' in the NVidia Control Panel.  I normally leave it in "Aspect Ratio" mode to play 4x3 games correctly, and all I had to do was click off of that and then reclick it and it was fixed.
