I think you should have gone with a 12400f and b660 combo (much cheaper and identical performance + better upgrade path) also that PSU is a bit overkill

Hope my response helps 🙂

The 750W allows for a better upgrade path without having to replace a perfectly functional PSU. Spend an extra $20 now, vs selling the old PSU for 80% of its value, and then spending more on a higher wattage PSU.

Yeah. The prices weren't too far off from 650W - 750W.

I know. I was looking for 12th gen i7, but BestBuy had an amazing deal for the AIO and Motherboard and I saved ~$150. Also, at the time I looked, the prices for the i7 and 5600X were the same. I appreciate the feedback though.

CPU & Motherboard come out to $40 more but performance wise are much faster, you still need a case.

you can also got this route https://pcpartpicker.com/list/bMHqsL with a 12400F and a slightly different storage configuration gen4 nvme for OS and programs and Gen3 for game storage for $10 more than a 1tb gen4 only. overall the build saves around $150-200 which you can put into a case and peripherals or rgb fans.

The best gaming PC is the PC you like to game on, how you like to game on it

This was really helpful. Thank you. Also, I have a case from a an old pre built that I’m reusing. I’m also going with your first idea. Gonna return the cpu, motherboard, and ram at best buy, get the core i5 and 3600mhz ram from there. Then buy the motherboard online.
