My CPU ghz at idle used to be around 1.20 - 1.80, but it's been a few days where it stays at the 1.40 and then randomly jumps to 1.90 - 2.30 sometimes even to 3.40 it didn't used to be like this is this bad? May this be caused by windows updates? I'm pretty sure  this unstable CPU ghz thing started when small windows update came out I've tried reinstalling windows, but it's still the same I'm that type of person who is very paranoid and whenever any little things happen I start to worry about and think about it a lot which leads to making up more random problems, well I think you got the idea what I meant... So is this normal and is there a chance it's caused by windows updates. If it matters my CPU is i7 10700f

As long as it's not leading to crashes, there's nothing to be worried about.
