my monitor only shows a (sometimes blinking) white image

Hello,

I have a PC with 3 monitors, but when I was away from home for a while, there was a power outage in the village. when i got home, 1 of my monitors was on and the screen was blinking white. I unplugged the power cord but since then the screen does nothing but blink white or it stays white. Also, I can't operate the buttons on the screen and the green light next to the power button also no longer works. does anyone know what i can do now to fix this?

ps. the monitor is no longer connected to the pc, so that's not the issue.

Virtually impossible to diagnose.  Your best bet is to look up the manufacturer's operating manual/s and look for a troubleshooting section.  But you may well be looking at needing a replacement.  I'm sensing that not only did you not have a UPS (which I would recommend, based on your circumstance as you describe it), but I'm guessing not even a surge protector?  And if that's the case, if 1 fried monitor is all you came away with--count yourself lucky.
