60 on lateral pulldown, 105-110 on leg press and i dont like deadlift so i dont really do it. Rowing is pretty hazy in my mind.

I lift once in a while. Or at the very least I do resistance training. These days it's usually bodyweight one legged squats + one armed pushups against a doorway at a ~45 degree angle. It's more reps, greater range of motion and a LOT more paranoid about injuries.

When I was younger I was fanatical about it. I went from around 100lbs up to a very lean 140lbs in 18 months. I went from having people joke that I was anorexic (I wasn't) to people (different group) joke that I did steroids (I didn't).

The heaviest I ever got was a bit over 190lbs, right after I first started working at Google. I ate A LOT of free food, I exercised a TON and I bicycled everywhere. Did I mention that I ate a lot.

Right now I'm a fairly lean 160lbs. I'm older and if I'm too aggressive with exercise I start to feel my joints/tendons. This is enough of an issue that I suffered a fair bit back in 2014.

I probably have better thigh and lat strength than anything else. I want to say I could rep (10ish) 220 on lat pulldowns. I don't remember the exact amount, it was the entire stack.

As far as leg presses are concerned - back when I was into it, if I could get the sleigh moving, I could do a bit over 1000lbs on a diagonal leg press for 3 reps back when I was in college. Getting started required help from my hands because the PLATFORM itself would slightly bend (so the sled bending instead of the weights moving. That coupled with friction stops movement when you're near your limit.

My bench sucks - something like 180lbs for reps. I'm paranoid about shoulder injuries. I don't push that too far.
Overhead press... I usually stop at around 100lbs.
Curls... around 50lbs per arm.
Abs... yeah I should probably work those some day. Mostly relied on lunges/squats
One legged dumbel squats/lunges... I want to say I usually did 110lbs in each arm
Shrugs/obliques... 110lbs in one arm

Yeah, take care of them. Don't max out (1-3 reps) TOO often (once in a while is fine), full range of motion for a low(5) to moderately large number(50) of reps. Do not ALWAYS push to failure, especially if you're not doing a good job on diet and sleep. If you have tiny joints (usually small bones) be sure to occasionally just take a week off to rest. This assumes you're not doing steroids. The big things that hurt me was pushing too far (3 rep max, then going to a lower weight for more reps, then a lower weight... ), doing too high volume, and pushing to failure too often, all while eating as cheaply as possible and not getting nearly enough sleep. Stress regulation likely also matters (meditation helps).

I'm perfectly functional at this point, just prone to injury. If I feel warning signs then I just take a break.

I'm in my 30s. I'll probably either retire or be semi-retired by 40 and I want to be able to do stuff like hike mountains, bicycle long distance, do a boatload of pullups, etc. If I do NO exercise my body will deteriorate. If I do TOO much with too great an intensity, my body will get worn out. There's a healthy middle ground where your body grows and develops without too much wear and tear.

Most of my concerns come from watching relatives in blue collar trades basically have their bodies turn to mush at some point. The skinny white collar types are mostly fine. I probably have 20lbs more than I ought to on my frame.

Set up data pipelines, create dashboards, run statistical/ML models, launch and analyze surveys.
I'll be out of Google sooner than later though - bad team fit and right now the job market is HOT.

It was a great experience for a few years, paid around $200,000 more per year than my previous job and even in the last year, which was miserable, I learned a number of important life lessons and picked up some skills. For most of the FAANG companies... if you can get into one, you should probably do it. It's worth a few hundred hours of interview preparation.

I honestly understand nothing about lifting, and my parents won't let me have the gym membership (I'm a minor), but I really want to look like zyzz

When you turn 18, you should get a membership. L parents though, like who wouldn't want their child to improve their health?
