My modem is the Linksys DPC3010, my router is the Apple AirPort Express, I have an ASUS PL-X32M powerline kit(1 on router side, 1 on my computer side) when the network is connected, everything works fine, but when i first boot up my computer, i have to give it a few minutes for the network to connect to the internet. Note that it shows that it reads the powerline, but it says that its limited. I have MSI Z77-A-GD65 motherboard, and am using the integrated gigabit ethernet port. Is this because powerline takes a few minutes to boot up? or is it my ethernet port. If it's my ethernet port, would getting a network card fix this? or is that load time one of the drawbacks to powerline.
