gtx 970 bracket

so sinc ei finaly got a workign PSU in the mail, i went to isntall the GTX 970 to HP 230 workstation, but i had to remov ethe bracket to maek it fit, only way i could unless i cut the thigns inbetween the case, i mean the workstation is quite a big case adn haven tseen meany bigger ones, yet GRX 970 still wot fit withotu havign to take off bracket?

 

is there any place i can gety a cheap bracket so dont have to worry about cat goign behind computer?

I'm assuming you mean the clip on holding bracket for the pcie slots because they have no screw mounting holes.

that big plastic thing in front of the card right?

personally, some padded double sided tape between the card's bracket and the slots would be just fine to keep the card in, there aren't really aftermarket brackets for holding cards in on the back panel. Even zip-tie or cable tie through the card's screw holes and then through the case would hold it in place for basically free.

yea im talking this thing mien came with https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32943885431.html but i had to removw eit becusae it diddent fit and dont knwo what bracket i can use instead? i read SHOUDL be able tto install GTX 1070 and 970 into a HP230Z but i just had a graphical glitch i think beucase cat slighly bumped the card which isent good sicne no bracket.

 

i assume i need soem low profiel bracket. or if could cut that bracket down the logn way in half or i have to cut the case to be able to use the bracket.
