some apps not working on wifi

So basically, apps like Snapchat, spotify and discord have stopped connecting to the internet on my iPhone 12. This shouldnt be an issue with my wifi since it works on my older phone and apps like Instagram, youtube and google classroom still work. I've already tried restarting my phone and network settings but none of that worked. Please help.

 

Update: found out that it was not just for my iPhone 12 but also my sisters google pixel

Never had an iPhone, but are you sure those apps are up to date? Though I am running old version of discord and never had to update yet. Maybe they require some extra permissions?

Classic advice:

1) restart

2) still no fix, re-install

I've already tried everything that has to do with updating and reinstalling but none of that worked. I'm somewhat suspecting it to be my router's problem since it isnt just on my phone.

Ah maybe it's blocking a required port. Router firewall or some blacklist settings.
