Hi

So we got a Problem at Work and i just cant find a solution...

We got a lot of documents from Clients in paper. So we have to scan them. And then we want do search something in these documents. So we need them in searchable pdf´s or text-format. But the scanner can only scan to pdf or picture. Is there any way, that all scans get automaticly changed to searchable pdf´s or text. We get a lot so manual conversion is not possible. If there is a way, can you give me detailed steps or maybe a yt-video? Im really looking forward for a solution.

P.S. First post here so dont judge me to hard. Im not even eng. so pls forgive me.

I don't know how automatable it is but you can certanly atleast batch process PDFs with OCR to make the text searchable. Theres a Open-Source linux program for that called tesseract-ocr. But I am unsure if you can have that auto scan documents  aswell, should definetly be doable with some scripting though
