Hi all,

I mainly use Edge and Chrome, and some websites, including this one, have unreadably thin text. I've tried all the "standard" fixes, including reinstalling drivers, resetting fonts, and going through that TrueType font tool enhancer or whatever. Attached is a screenshot of what i'm experiencing. Help is greatly appreciated.

I fixed this issue by deleting "Helvetica Light" from my fonts.

Do you know if your browser is accidentally zoomed out? Try holding down the CTRL key on your keyboard then use your scroll button on your mouse. You may see a zoom percentage listed in the top right corner of your browser.

You might also try running Windows's 'ClearType' utility as that may help make easier to see.

Good Luck

Tried both of these things. Main monitor (Acer VG270U, this is what screenshot is from) is set at 2560x1440 at 75 hz, second (random ViewSonic) at 1920x1080 at. 60 hz

Open Control Panel and, under Systems & Security, select System. Click Advanced System Settings on the left, then switch to the Advanced tab in the System Properties dialog box. Under Performance, click Settings. Then click Adjust for appearance and restart pc.

I think something happend to your system fonts. But I can`t say I know how to fix it.

in most "web-based" apps (browsers, discord, etc...) I've tried reinstalling fonts and apps already. it also happens on my school laptop, so idk what to do at this point. maybe i just need to update windows or something lol
